Winter Frost

This weekend I went out very early to get the newspaper. The temperature had dropped overnight and our grass was white with frost. This is what I saw as I walked up the driveway--it was so pretty that I just had to go back and get my camera.

I love this oak leaf outlined in frost

There were some creeping junipers mixed in with the leaves too--all cottony white.

And the head of a coneflower outlined in tiny ice crystals--

I was so glad that I happened to look down so I didn't miss all this --it's just so pretty.

I agree, they really look beautiful. You could have a freelance career if you wanted.

Lorrie, those are gorgeous. You are really a wonderful photographer and "blogapher". They look really good with the snow effect that you have on the blog site.
